This proposal is put forward by Graeme Davies a small business owner and a disenchanted, elderly, dyslexic, ex Liberal voter.
I am putting the proposal forward as an unknown citizen so that it may deflect criticism. If it were put forward by a political person or entity, the media would find some way to tear it down before it started, also, there has been no other person or group with a suggestion to give the current Government any need to consider defeat at the next election.
I started out as a Turner and Fitter then started my own business, which became reasonably successful. I guess that made me look a things in a practical way, not rely on Government who only do things with other people’s money.
When I look at the way Government spend our money i.e. renewables, spending billions to replace that which was previously provided by the private sector, and feel good virtue signalling policies that divide the community. Unfortunately the party that once encouraged hard working family orientated policies, have now adopted many of the same woke policies as the Labour/Greens.
As an optimistic person myself, I despair a how our young people and Aboriginal communities are being taught to divide and hate by those who should know better. Many in these groups see no hope for their future. This has to stop.
Wanting change is one thing but having a plan to do it is another, perhaps Conservative Alliance or something similar is the way.
A committee of 4-8 could be put forward from the entities listed, with a high-powered chairman and, perhaps a future Prime Minister, to drive the formation and implementation of the proposal.
I will register an entity name, to get the ball rolling, then if possible step away.
If the proposal is accepted, it would require a big Media campaign to convince the voters that the current expenditure on Climate Change and the Voice are divisive, based on ideology and are irrational.
Ian Plimer, David Flint, Jacinta Price and other expert people could be used to bring home the truth and demand that woke proponents be shamed into debating their policies which we know cannot be held up to scrutiny.
The funds saved could be used to promote harmony and positive thinking towards our future.
There is a huge part of the population who are not convinced that “man made” global warming is the emergency that it is made out to be and are afraid to speak up. Any future problems can be addressed at the time. A movement such as this may just be what they are looking for.
I am also sure that the diverse views of conservatives could be harnessed by agreeing to a range of “core values” to bind them into a powerful voting block perhaps called the “Conservative Alliance”.
Just get some sanity back into politics.
